EMMY AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY FILM DIRECTOR, DP AND PRODUCER
Mariana Henninger is a national Emmy award-winning documentary film director, producer and DP. Her work focuses on intimate and visual character-centric documentary films, and exploring the vast range of the human experience, with a focus on stories of emotional crossroads.
For five years, she worked as a Senior Video Producer at NBC News engaging and overseeing all roles from research and reporting to post-production. Previously she freelanced for The New York Times, The Atlantic, TIME, The Wall Street Journal and others. She has also worked for brands like Microsoft, Hulu, Wells Fargo, HP and UNESCO.
Her passions involve meeting people in different walks of life. She’s worked in four continents and speaks four languages fluently: English, Portuguese, French and Hebrew. Her extensive experience has meant living in Europe and the Middle East, and reporting extensively from Israel, Afghanistan, Russia, Finland, Maldives, China, Haiti, and Mexico.
